2008 CCAD Student Show Open

I did this years CCAD Student Show Open sequence. It was all shot at CCAD. I did the 3D work in Maya, and compositing in After Effects.

Cinema 4D Experiments

So it's summertime! Well, at least summer break. During summer break I'm planning on doing some experimentation among other things. Things to look forward to on this blog

- 3D Parametric animation experiments
- Digital matte sketches
- More Maya work.

Expulsion Project Final

Here is the final animation for the Expulsion project. I learned alot doing this project and I think it turned out pretty well. It didn't meet my expectations but I had very high expectations for it. All in all I learned a lot of what to do and not to do working on an image like this. Here are some specs for it.

Software used:

Maya 7
Vue 6
After Effects CS3

Other information:
All pieces were rendered in 3d, nothing was painted. Particles done in Maya and Particle Illusion. Compositing done in After Effects in over 50 layers.
